Many places of interest are located close to the cottages and most are only a short drive away. Take a 10-minute drive to the Darley Mill Centre, Brimham Rocks, Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs and Ripley Castle.

You’ll also find many country pubs/restaurants within the area, the closest of which is The Wellington Inn, just half a mile away.

The lovely spa town of Harrogate can be reached within 15 minutes (see City-Visitor.com for more information) and a 20 to 30 minute drive will take you to Skipton, where you can visit its historic castle, beautiful canals and busy market.

Within 30 minutes you can also experience Fountains Abbey, Harewood House, Bolton Abbey, Ripon, Pateley Bridge, Stump Cross Caverns, Knaresborough, Mother Shipton's Cave, How Stean Gorge and the City of Leeds.

A 50 to 60 minute drive will take you to the historic City of York, where you can enjoy its amazing history and overwhelming attractions.
