The Cottage

Converted in 1998 around a 200-year-old blacksmith's forge, this wonderful cottage features a kitchen/diner, a lounge with real fire and exposed beams, 1 double bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom and bathroom (bath with shower over). It is a detached bungalow.

The cottage has new pvc double glazing and oil fired central heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave and all cooking utensils, including crockery, cutlery etc and a washer/dryer. It has full satellite TV and a multi-region DVD player, a CD player/radio as well as a private telephone line. A hairdryer is also provided.  We can also provide a stair gate, cot (crib) with bedding and highchair for the safety and comfort of young children. The cottage has free wireless broadband access.

There is parking available directly outside the cottage.
